Diagnosis

Vertex smooth and shiny, sparsely setose with rather long and straight setae; occipital margin with a raised carina that continues down behind eyes; mesoscutum with very weak reticulation in anterior ½, smooth and shiny in posterior ½, sparsely setose with rather long and straight setae, notauli indistinct; scutellum smooth with a carina in anterior ¼, but without median groove and lateral mesh-rows, sparsely setose with rather long and straight setae; costal cell with ventral side with a row of 3-4 setae; submarginal vein two setae; first gastral tergite smooth laterally; frons smooth with a U-shaped carina between the eyes; interscrobal area with a raised and sharp carina.
